The Station 2 Station project is designed in response to Connex’s need for an efficient, approachable, bicycle friendly and modular system for train stations here in Melbourne, Australia.

In result of this, my modular design consists of only seven individual parts while still able to address the issues given by Connex. By connecting a certain number of parts, the user is able to create extra bicycle storage, extra seating and leaning areas, plantations, litter bins, advertising space and amenities. Furthermore, solar panels were used as the shelter allowing it to feed power back into the grid.

Being a modular design, it will be inexpensive to manufacture and easily adaptable to different train stations.
